Day 46 of my “10 secrets for success and inner peace” journey

Secret 7 – "There Are No Justified Resentments"

#Weyne Dyer #Resentment #Blame #10 secrets for success

Dear Friends, I was traveling, and there was no much time to write, but a lot of time to think. Travelling is not only about discovering new places, but also about discovering oneself. Recent 4 days for me were about reflection on resentments and blame in my life. I have much less of it than a couple of years ago, but still, it is present. What helped and helps me to minimise it?

1) I know that people always trying their best. And with the experience that they have, the mindset that has been created and emotions that they experience, whatever they do is “their best”. It might not be “my best”, but who am I to judge? I can only share my opinion about it, openly, firmly and politely.

2) I do only what I choose to do: either I love to do it, or I feel that it is my (and only my) duty. And I do it with love and best possible efforts. So, if something goes not as I expected, or someone does something unpleasant, I know that it was my choice and I did my best.

3) And I’m trying to understand people’s reasons, view at things from different angles.

This helps me, and life offers me nice things in return: nice people, nice surprises. Would be great to hear about your approach on resentment in your life.

And a quote of Weyne Dyer for today:

"Removing blame means never assigning responsibility to anyone for what you're experiencing ... you're willing to say, 'I may not understand why . . . but I'm willing to say without guilt or resentment that I own it, I live with, and I am responsible for, having it in my life.' Why do this? If you take responsibility for having it, then at least you have a chance to also take responsibility for removing it or learning from it . . . be willing to send the higher, faster energies of love, peace, joy, forgiveness, and kindness as your response to whatever comes your way."

PS: Clouds are so beautiful here, but can be dark at times. The same with people. And all is changing. At the Atlantic Ocean
